The revelations are shocking - a new report by InsideClimate News and the LA Times shows that Exxon researchers had solid evidence of the risks to our climate from fossil fuels as far back as the 1970s.  But instead of getting on board with moving our economy away from dirty energy sources, Exxon chose to suppress the data, while striving to publicly "emphasize the uncertainty," as one of their internal memos put it. By doing so, they helped hold back years of potential progress on climate.  Did Exxon commit a crime by burying the truth about climate? We need to hold Exxon responsible!
